Program Description

Sri Sharadamba Temple (SEVA) — Sringeri Education and Vedic Academy — sends text messages to registered devotees who opt in to SMS notifications. Messages include:

• Seva booking confirmations and reminders
• Payment receipts and payment links
• Temple event updates and announcements
• Administrative notifications related to your account

Consent

By enabling "Text Reminders" in your profile settings, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Sri Sharadamba Temple (SEVA) at the phone number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or registration.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your seva bookings and temple events. Typically 1–5 messages per month, with additional messages around major events.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply. Sri Sharadamba Temple does not charge for SMS, but your carrier may apply standard messaging fees.

Opt-Out

You can opt out at any time by:

• Replying STOP to any text message from us
• Turning off "Text Reminders" in your profile at sharadaseva.org/profile
• Setting your contact preference to "Do Not Disturb"

After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. No further messages will be sent unless you re-enable SMS.

Privacy

Your phone number is stored securely and used only for temple communications. We do not share, sell, or rent your phone number to third parties. Messages are sent via Twilio, a trusted messaging platform.
