Sri Sharadamba is an embodiment of Saraswathi, the Hindu goddess of knowledge, holds a venerable position in Hindu spirituality, especially revered in Sringeri, Karnataka, and the broader context of Kashmir Shaivism. As the presiding deity of knowledge and arts, her worship is central to the Sringeri Sharada Peetham, one of the four Advaita Vedanta monasteries established by Adi Shankaracharya.
Sri Sharadamba Temple (SEVA) was established in the San Francisco Bay Area to serve the spiritual needs of the Hindu community. The temple follows the traditions of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham and offers regular pujas, special events, and cultural programs throughout the year.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, SEVA is dedicated to preserving and promoting Hindu cultural and spiritual values. The temple welcomes all devotees and visitors regardless of background.
